What is Asthma?

Asthma is a chronic condition in which the airways narrow and swell and may produce extra mucus. As a result of these restricted airways breathing becomes very difficult.

In some cases, asthma attacks are caused by a reaction to allergens such as pollen or dust. But for many individuals, the actual triggers for their asthma attacks are unknown. Some individuals experience multiple asthma attacks per day.

In individuals with chronic asthma, the immune system goes into overdrive. This can result in more frequent and severe asthma attacks. Common symptoms of asthma include difficulty breathing, coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, and shallow breathing.

Injection Therapies

Injection therapies are a cornerstone in managing Asthma symptoms and minimizing Asthma attacks when other treatments are not effective. Injection therapy provides more effective, faster, longer relief from Asthma symptoms. These treatments are administered in our clinics and are closely monitored by our expert care team to ensure your comfort and safety. Injection therapy may help:

  • Optimize symptom control
  • Reduce risk of asthma attacks
  • Preserve lung function
  • Improve quality of life

Living with a chronic condition is about more than managing symptoms — it’s about maintaining hope, independence, and peace of mind. Whether you receive treatment in our state-of-the-art centers or, if eligible, from the comfort and convenience of your own home, Infusion for Health is here to support you every step of the way.
