Putting You at the Center of Infusion Care
At Infusion for Health, we provide advanced infusion therapies to help manage Myasthenia Gravis (MG). These treatments are designed to reduce relapses, slow disease progression, and improve quality of life — all in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
What Is Myasthenia Gravis (MG)?
MG is a chronic autoimmune condition that results in fatigue and weakened muscles. The body normally communicates to the body via the nervous system. But with myasthenia gravis, antibodies attack the nervous system, preventing proper communication. This is why muscles feel weak and movements become difficult.
A person with MG may feel increased weakness in their arms and legs as time goes on. One of the earliest symptoms is drooping eyelids. The weakness can also spread to other muscles, possibly affecting everyday actions such as talking, eating, swallowing, breathing, facial expressions, standing upright, and walking.
While MG can be unpredictable, today’s therapies make a real difference in slowing its progression and maintaining function.
