BREA, California. — Infusion for Health, a leading provider of specialty infusion services, today announced the continued expansion of its Home Infusion division, building upon its robust infusion program that serves patients across multiple markets. As demand for site-of-care flexibility continues to grow, the company is investing in additional clinical expertise, operational capabilities, and geographic expansion to further strengthen its home infusion offerings.
“Our vision is to deliver infusion care wherever it best serves the patient,” said Dan McCarty, CEO of Infusion for Health. “Expanding our home infusion capabilities alongside our ambulatory infusion center network allows us to offer greater flexibility while maintaining the clinical excellence and patient experience that define our organization.”
As part of this growth strategy, Michael Rigas, Pharm.D. FNHIA, is joining to help guide the next phase of expansion. Dr. Rigas brings more than four decades of home infusion and specialty pharmacy experience to Infusion for Health. As Co-founder, Principal, and former Chief Clinical Officer of KabaFusion, he played a pivotal role in building the company into a nationally recognized home infusion provider. A NHIA Fellow, Dr. Rigas has also held executive leadership positions with Apria Healthcare, Crescent HealthCare, VITALine CareSite Pharmacy Services, and Geisinger Health System. Widely recognized for his expertise in immunoglobulin therapy and clinical operations, he has helped advance clinical excellence, patient outcomes, and innovation across the home infusion industry.
“As we continue expanding our home infusion footprint, we are intentionally building a team with deep expertise and a shared commitment to clinical excellence,” said Jeffrey Shore, Sr. VP of Operations at Infusion for Health. “Michael’s experience and vision have helped shape the industry, and his guidance will be invaluable as we continue expanding access for patients and providers.”
Infusion for Health has established itself as a market leader in ambulatory infusion care with its growing footprint of Ambulatory Infusion Centers throughout the Western U.S. The company’s expanding Home Infusion division creates a comprehensive site-of-care model that allows patients greater flexibility where they receive treatment.
“The future of infusion care is about providing patients and providers with options while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and service,” said Dr. Rigas. “Infusion for Health has built an outstanding reputation in ambulatory infusion care, and I am excited to join the team as they continue expanding their home infusion capabilities and extending that same level of excellence into the home.”
