What is Asthma?
Asthma is a chronic condition in which the airways narrow and swell and may produce extra mucus. As a result of these restricted airways breathing becomes very difficult.
In some cases, asthma attacks are caused by a reaction to allergens such as pollen. But for many individuals, the actual triggers for their asthma attacks are unknown.
